The Extended Stay Supply-Demand Report
Extended-stay demand has been growing while supply growth stays below its long-run average. This report asks a narrower question, market by market: how many extended-stay rooms exist, how many the construction workforce already on the ground implies, and what the announced project pipeline adds on top.
Built from OpenStreetMap hotel inventory, BLS Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, and SEC Form D lodging raises attributed to each metro. Every assumption is stated on the report itself.

"Implied need" is an estimate, not a measurement — it applies an assumed non-local share to construction employment. The arithmetic and its assumptions are shown in full on each market's report, including the counter-arguments. Nothing here is investment advice.
